Planning permission Granted for 4 new dwellings in Topcliffe, Hambleton

We have received planning approval this week by committee for 4 new dwellings in a countryside location in Hambleton.

Each of the properties are detached, varying in scale and aesthetic to provide a mix of housing for the local area.

There are 2 houses and two large dormer bungalows, ranging from approximately 2000-2550ft2, all with off street parking for 4 cars and generous plots. 

The planning committee noted how pleased they were with the scheme, to the point that every member on the committee voted to approve the scheme. 

Planning Permission Granted for the Huddersfield Giants Training Facility

Development of the old Woodfield Park sports complex, located on Meltham Road in Lockwood, Huddersfield, has taken its initial step to its transition into the new home of the Huddersfield Giants academy and First Team Training Facility.

After ongoing negotiations with the local authority and the Huddersfield Giants, we have designed a purpose made facility for the community, the Giants Academy and First team.

We are delighted to confirm that the 17,000ft2 building and associated grounds, including an artificial all weather 4G pitch, has this week received a decision to approve the scheme through Committee.

The 14 acre Woodfield Park site will be developed into a community based sports and social facility complete with recreational space, offices, social areas, gymnasium, changing facilities and will also cater for a wide range of sports facilities. 

Huddersfield Giants Development Director Chris Taylor says "The new 17000 ft2 building will provide the Giants with a facility, based upon the very best set ups in the Super League, with video analysis rooms, treatment facilities and a state of the art gymnasium. It is exciting times as the new training facility will embrace the wider local community."

We have had planning granted today for a proposed two storey side extension to accommodate a new Master Bedroom with EnSuite to the upper floor and the formation of a new storage area, Utility Room & Family Living Area to the Ground Floor.

 

 

Planning Granted in Colton, Leeds

We have planning granted for a proposed single storey side extension to accommodate an assisted bathroom within the property, formation of a new utility area & mobility equipment storage within extension to a house in North Leeds.

We are excited to announce that Hockey Architectural is now Dzign House Architecture.

Why? Well, we have worked on many projects in the last few years, and we think the new brand better reflects the work we currently do, and that of the future.

In renaming the company we have also decided to freshen up our look and therefore we’ve changed our logos and also rebranded our website. 

Changes involving the above will take place over the coming weeks whilst the name is confirmed on the various platforms, however we will continue our same service throughout.

Planning Granted for Grade II* listed Property

We are pleased to say we have received approval for a change of use from a residential dwelling (C3) to chapel facility (D1) and tea room (A3), erection of extension and alterations, formation of extension to car park for a property in Huddersfield.

The building is a substantial Grade II* Listed property within the local Conservation Area and has been noted as having interiors that are among the most adventurous in Europe for their date. Comparing well with the Kartner Bar in Vienna (Loos: 1907), or the Palais Stoclet in Brussells (Eoffmann: 1905) and was listed on account of works to the property undertaken by the Manchester architects Edgar Wood and J Henry Sellers in 1909.
