Planning granted for home office

With current events there has been an increased pressure to work from home and most are embracing the concept, but find it hard to create a good working environment within the home. Creating a private office area within the grounds of your property could be your solution. This can often not require planning permission and can be constructed under permitted development, should the property not have such rights then a householder planning application would be required.
This week we have received planning approval for one such building, an independent home office building tucked into an unused patio within a walled garden area.

Planning granted for change of use to residential dwelling in North Yorkshire

This week we’ve received approval for change of use from an agricultural building to a dwelling house as part of the General Permitted Development Order, this allows the building to be converted under PD. This has meant what was an old agricultural unit can now be developed into a 3 bed farmhouse property shown as Unit 1 in the image. Under the same rules we also have a previous approval on the same site to convert a larger barn into two other larger 4 bed dwellings. If you have an agricultural unit, why not see what you could achieve?
